For Spots and Spills
Blot any excess liquid immediately with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. If necessary, use clear, lukewarm water and dry with a clean towel and then air dry. Do not dry wet areas with heat dryers, hair dryers, etc. as this will damage the material.
For Stubborn Spots and Spills
Use a mild solution of Ivory® bar soap (not dishwashing liquid) and clear, lukewarm water. Apply the soap to a clean, wet sponge and blot the affected area. Do not apply force or pressure, as the heat and friction of rubbing will damage the surface over time. Rinse and allow to air dry naturally.
CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
DriveValia Custom Fit Genuine Leather Seat Covers are treated with a protective coating during the manufacturing process. This treatment helps protect the leather surface from everyday soiling and staining, ensuring long-lasting durability and a premium appearance throughout the life of your DriveValia interior. If cleaning becomes necessary, please follow the instructions below.
For Spots and Spills
Immediately blot any excess liquid using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. If needed, lightly dampen the area with clear, lukewarm water. Gently blot dry with a clean towel and allow the area to air dry naturally.
Important: Do not use heat sources such as hair dryers, heaters, or heat guns to dry the leather, as excessive heat may permanently damage the material.
For Stubborn Spots and Stains
Use a mild cleaning solution made from Ivory bar soap (do not use dishwashing liquid) mixed with clear, lukewarm water. Apply the solution to a clean, damp sponge and gently blot the affected area.
Avoid rubbing or applying pressure. Excessive friction and heat can damage the leather surface over time. After cleaning, lightly rinse with clean water and allow the leather to air dry naturally.
For Disinfecting
DriveValia recommends using only botanical-based disinfectants on leather seating surfaces. Always follow the disinfectant manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
Alcohol-based or ammonium-based disinfectants may cause long-term damage to the leather if used repeatedly and are not recommended.
Do Not Use
Do not use saddle soaps, oils, abrasive cleaners, detergents (including dishwashing liquids), solvents such as mineral spirits, products containing alcohol (including hand sanitizers), household disinfectant sprays or wipes, varnish, ammonia-based cleaners, bleach, or any products containing bleach.
Use of these products may damage the protective top coat of your DriveValia leather seat covers and could void your warranty.
